Meet Mrs. Huskey
Hello Arrowhead Families,
Welcome to Arrowhead and most importantly, welcome to my second grade classroom! I'm thrilled to be apart of such an amazing team and get started on my fourth year of teaching.
I am a born and raised Montana gal, in fact I even attended Arrowhead for my second and sixth grade year! I began my educational studies at Montana State University-Bozeman (Go Bobcats!) and later returned to MSU-Billings where I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a teaching minor in reading (k-12) in the Spring of 2015.
I am passionate in my commitment to education and wish to create a classroom climate that radiates kindness and respect while facilitating intellectual growth for each student. I believe each child may learn differently than the next, therefore its important to offer students various avenues for success within the classroom. My goal is to always reach meaningful learning. My passion for teaching was furthermore confirmed when I had my own son, Noah, who is now in third grade. Being a mother myself, I have truly challenged myself to be the educator I would want for my own son.
I look forward to a great year and am over-the-moon-excited to continue growing as an educator and learn from your children! Inside my classroom, I believe we are all students, and we are all teachers. Just as my students will learn from me, I will learn from them as well.
I gratefully welcome parent support, please feel free to contact me at anytime if you have any questions or concerns regarding your child or our classroom.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Huskey
